Kartar and its Importancs for Sikhs
Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, located in
Kartarpur, is the second most sacred site for Sikhs, located in Kotha Pind, a
small village on the banks of the Ravi River, about 120 km from Lahore and just
4 km from the Pak-India border.
This village is located in Shakargarh
a tehsil of Narowal district of Punjab
and this beautiful gurdwara in white looks like a bird from afar.
The Kartarpur corridor, built in just
nine months, is a visa-free corridor through which Sikh pilgrims from India will
come to Gurdwara Darbar in the morning and return in the evening.
As per agreement this route will allow
5,000 Sikh pilgrims to come daily from India.
One hundred and thirty counters have
been set up at the Border Terminal to facilitate Sikh pilgrims, where their
passport identification or permit scanning and biometric certification will be
obtained, whereas the Sikh pilgrims will pay 20 dollars as service charges,
however on Baba Grunnak's 550th birthday this fee will not be
charged.
After immigration, the pilgrims will
arrive at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, a distance of 4 km in the beautiful buses.
Passengers arriving from Kartarpur
Pass will enter Gurdwara Darbar Sahib at a certain gate, where they will return
to India later that evening after performing the rituals.
Travelers will not be allowed to enter
anywhere except the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, for this purpose high-barbed and
barbed wire have been installed on both sides of the road to Kartarpur Passage
and Darbar Sahib.

when it comes to the Sikh community, we speak of humanity and not of spreading
hatred. "Our Holy Prophet spoke of humanity."

still visit the shrine of Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti, Nizamuddin Olia and Baba
Farid to express their love and affection."
Imran Khan says he realized the
importance of Kartarpur a year ago.
Imran Khan said, “The leader always
gathers people. He does not get votes by spreading hatred. ”He made a special
mention of former South African President Nelson Mandela on the occasion,
saying that he had assembled human beings, pardoned the wrongdoers and saved
South Africa from blood.
