The AIOU opens its admissions twice a years, one in Spring
Season and secondly in Autumn Admissions. Allama Iqbal Open University has
started receiving online admissions for BS 5th Semesters 4 years, B.Ed
1.5 Years, B.Ed 2.5 Years ,B.Ed 4 years, BBA, PGD, M.Phil. & Ph.D programs.
What is Face to Face Study?
Like other universities the AIOU offers physical classes in
some of its programs as Ph.D , M.Phil. and in some BS Programs. For these classes
the students have to go to Allama Iqbal Open University main campus or regional
campus.
What is ODL?
Allama Iqbal Open University is famous for its online
education. ODL stand for Online Distance Learning. It is a mode of giving
education to the students who live in remote areas and are unable to get
physical classes either in AIOU or in any other university. These students are
mostly jobs holders or majority of women who cannot go to any university.
How to Submit Assignments?
Students must submit their assignment online or in some
cases to their assigned tutors. Students should type the assignments, convert
them into PDF format and must upload the university portal before the end of
the due date.
How to apply for Admissions?
In this case the students should select the degree in which
he is going to seek admissions. Students must read all the requirement before
applying. He or she must visit the university official website. Fill all the requirements,
upload previous degrees details, and generate a chalan of fee. After doing
final submission, he should pay the chlann of fee before the end date mention
on the chalan.
After How Many Days Admissions is confirmed?
Usually it takes one month in confirming the admissions. But
if there is any objection on the documents of the candidate, it can take longer
time.
DO AIOU Send Books to All Students?
The AIOU Send books only to Matric/FA/BA Students. To the BS
students, university advises to download the books from it official website.
