The importance of women education in a society
It is a famous proverb that “If you educate a man,
you educate a man, but if you educate a woman, you educate a whole society.”
The importance of women education in a society cannot
be falsified. Islam focuses on imparting education and good breeding
of
daughters.
But it is a bad luck of our society that we do not
give much
importance to women education. It becomes the reason of less
development and progress of the country.
“To educate girls is to reduce poverty.”
In any country, women cover half of the sky. A
country cannot progress without imparting quality education to women living in
that country. If you do not give education to women, it means that you are
destroying the future of your coming generations.
“Education is the most lethal weapon; with it you
can change the world”.
Women are the role model of a society. In our country
more attention is given to women s’ marriages than to their education. In this country,
there are many girls who cherish the desire to get education but they become
helpless before the decisions of their parents.
If the parents impart any kind of education to the girls,
the motive behind this is to acquire good match for them. So, in this way, they
deteriorate the true meanings and merits of education.
If a girl is not educated well, she remains unable
to perform her life activities after the marriage. She cannot provide good
training to her children. So, it is the need of the hour that we should give
much attention to women education.
“No struggle can ever succeed without women
participating side by side with men.”
(Muhammad Ali Jinnah)
In our typical society girls are suppressed more than
the male children. An inferiority complex occurs as a result in girls. They
start thinking themselves as the lowest creature. They are perverted. They do
not want to get education as they start thinking that after their marriage,
they have to do only domestic activities.
Summing up, one can say that if you want to see your
nation progressing as a whole, one should favour women education. It has lots
of benefits for our upcoming generations and the most necessary element of a
country progress.
