have good news for all Pakistani pupils regarding fulfilling their study abroad
dream. HEC and the Chinese Government Scholarship Program call
Pakistani students and scholars for educational and research partnership. This
program plans to help them follow studies and research at top Chinese
universities. HEC plays a vibrant role in
nominating candidates for these scholarships in the academic year 2024-25.
Administered
by the China Scholarship Council CSC, endorsed
by the Ministry of Education in the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Government Scholarship Program 2024-2025 opens
doors for trained Pakistani applicants. This CSC scholarship lengths various academic levels,
encompassing Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral/ PhD programs across
a wide selection of fields, catering to various interests and disciplines.
Pakistani students are advised to allow as soon as possible to avoid any
confusion in the last application deadline days.

Succeeding
are the expenses which will be covered by this CSC Chinese government scholarship 2024:
1.Tuition Funds: The host
university uses these funds for education, admin costs, health insurance, and
student activities.
2.Accommodation: Free subsidy
for living expenses provided to each scholarship recipient.
3.Stipend: The following are the monthly stipend
costs which will be provided to each student under China Govt. Scholarship
Program:
a. Undergraduates: Minimum CNY 2,500/month
b. Masters students: Minimum CNY 3,000/month
c. PhD students: Minimum CNY 3,500/month
d. Travel Expenditure: Scholarship winners are responsible for their travel costs;
HEC bears no financial responsibility.

Objectives of this Chinese Government
Scholarship
This Chinese Government Scholarship not
only signifies a supported educational partnership between China and Pakistan
but also serves as a promising way for Pakistani students to extend their
academic careers and engage in groundbreaking research at leading Chinese
universities. The CSC scholarship program stands as a beacon of
opportunity for Pakistani scholars aspiring to expand their academic
horizons and contribute to global knowledge exchange and collaboration.
CSC Scholarship Suitability Criteria
1. Applying candidate
must be a Pakistani/ AJ&K national, dual nationality holders are unqualified
to apply.
2.Applicants should be
in good health proved by a Physical Examination Record.
3.Imperfect degree
holders at the application deadline cannot apply.
4. For
Undergraduate/Bachelors: Need intermediate/ A-level/ FA-FSC (12 years)
education with age less than 25.
5. For Masters: Require
a Bachelor’s degree (16 years); age limit below 35.
6.For PhD/Doctoral:
Need a Master’s degree MS/MPhil (17/18 years); age limit under 40.
7.Candidates currently
accepted in any other scholarships cannot apply.
8. HAT or USAT test
score mandatory, minimum score of 50 out of 100 required.
9.Test score taken
after January 01, 2023, can be uploaded for consideration.
10.Applications without a minimum HAT or USAT score (50 out of 100)
won't be processed.
Required Documents for CSC Scholarship
No need to send any documents (hard copies) to HEC firstly. Only
shortlisted candidates should submit the following documents in English or
Chinese language:
1.Submit a signed
application form of HEC in a separate twisting binding. No other
documents should be attached.
2.Provide a signed
application form of CSC application portal with the necessary
documents.
3.
Attested copies of
educational documents, CNIC/B-form, Domicile, IBCC equivalency certificate, and
HEC equivalency if applicable.
4. Write a Study Plan
or Research Proposal in Chinese or English (200 words for undergraduates, 500
for non-degree students, 800 for postgraduates).
5.Submit language skill
certificate or IELTS/ TOEFL/ HSK score to relieved from the one year Chinese
language course.
6. A copy of a valid
ordinary passport (valid till march 2025)
7. Provide a photocopy
of the Physical Examination Record in English and keep the original. It must
cover all items listed in the Physical Examination Record, including basic
blood test reports.
8.Provide a
non-criminal Record (Police Clearance Certificate) not older than six months.
9.If available, apply
to target universities for a pre-admission letter for Masters and PhD
before the online application. It enhances chances for Chinese Government
Scholarships.
10.For graduate programs, submit two recommendation letters in Chinese
or English from professors or associate professors.
CSC Scholarship 2024 Application Process
To successfully submit your Chinese
Government Scholarship application, follow these below given steps:
1. Apply online at HEC
scholarship portal. After recording and filling your profile, please select
"Learning Opportunities Abroad".
2. Before applying,
kindly update your HEC profile with latest email/cell number &
updated information.
3. After submission of
the application, get its printed copy to be signed by the applicant.
4. You are recommended
to complete and submit your application as soon as possible, as the online
application system will be very busy in the days leading up to the application
deadline.
5. Also submit an online
application at CSC web portal at http://www.campuschina.org/ or
https://www.csc.edu.cn/ through program Type: A and Agency No.5861.
6.Download the
submitted copy of complete application form from Chinese Scholarship
Council portal, print & retain a signed copy with yourself.
7. Submission of online
applications at both CSC & HEC portal are mandatory. In case of
non-submission of form on any of the above two portals, candidature will not be
considered.
Important Instructions:
1.Submit your
applications on both CSC & HEC portals by the
deadline, December 28, 2023.
2.Ensure your email,
phone number, and address are accurate in the application. These details are
crucial for communication during the process. Not responding promptly may
result in rejection.
3. Providing false
information could lead to cancellation of the application and future
scholarship opportunities. HEC may impose penalties as well.
4. Do NOT send any hard
copies of forms or documents to HEC at this application stage.
5. Select Category A
(agency No. 5861) to submit the online application on the China Scholarship
Council's portal.
6. Incomplete or
unsaved applications on the HEC and CSC portals will not be considered.
