                             Current Pakistan Literacy Rate

Pakistan is facing a stagnant literacy rate.

Literacy rate in Pakistan remains static at 58 percent with male literacy rate of 70 percent and female literacy rate of 48 percent.The heart rendering situation is that these figures are not improving since 2015.

The Pakistan Economic Survey report says that the figures of 2015-16 should be considered as the current literacy reports.

As per Economic survey ,the whole country literacy rate in 2017-18 is 58 percent.In Punjab the literacy rate is 59 percent,KPK 53 percent,Sindh 48 percent and in Balouchistan the current literacy rate is 33 percent.

Likewise the gross enrollment rate for Pakistan is 87 percent.
