STI Jobs 2026 — Complete Online Application Method
Step
1: Check Your Eligibility
Before starting the application, make
sure you meet the requirements for the level you want to apply for.
According to the latest advertisement:

Candidates with B.Ed or M.Ed may
receive preference. The reported age limit is 21–45 years.
Important: Always compare your
qualification and subject with the specific vacancy shown on the official
portal.
Step 2: Prepare Your Documents
Before opening the application portal,
keep clear copies/photos of your documents ready.
You should prepare:
- CNIC
- Domicile
- Matric certificate/result card
- Intermediate certificate/result
card
- Bachelor's degree/result card
- Master's degree/result card, if
applicable
- B.Ed/M.Ed certificate, if
applicable
- Recent photograph, if requested by
the portal
- Active mobile phone number
- Active email address, if required
- Residential/locality information
required by the application
Make sure your name, father's name,
CNIC number, date of birth and marks are entered exactly as they appear on your
official documents.
Step 3: Open the Official STI Portal
Open:
Official STI Portal — sti.pesrp.edu.pk
Do not use unofficial websites for
submitting your application.
Step 4: Create Your Account / Register
If you are a new applicant:
- Open the STI portal.
- Look for Registration / Sign Up /
New Registration.
- Enter the information requested by
the portal.
- Enter your CNIC number.
- Enter your active mobile number.
- Enter your email address if
requested.
- Create a password.
- Complete the verification/OTP
process if displayed.
- Submit the registration form.
Important: Use your own active mobile
number and remember your password.
If you already have an account from an
earlier STI application cycle, try logging in rather than unnecessarily
creating a duplicate account.
Step 5: Login to Your STI Account
After registration:
- Return to the STI login page.
- Enter your CNIC/username.
- Enter your password.
- Complete any verification shown.
- Click Login.
You should then reach your STI
dashboard/profile.
If you have forgotten your password,
use the portal's password-recovery option rather than creating another account.
Step 6: Complete Your Personal Information
After logging in, open your Profile/Application
Form.
Enter your personal information
carefully.
This may include:
- Full Name
- Father's Name
- CNIC
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Mobile Number
- Email
- Domicile
- District
- Tehsil
- Union Council/locality
- Permanent Address
- Current Address
Very
important
Your information should match your
official documents.
For example:
CNIC: Do not make even one digit
mistake.
Date of Birth: Enter the date exactly
as shown on your CNIC.
Name: Use the spelling appearing on
your CNIC/educational documents.
Step 7: Enter Your Domicile / Residential Information
This is particularly important for STI
applications.
Enter:
- Domicile district
- Tehsil
- Relevant local area/Union Council
information
- Permanent residential address
STI recruitment has historically
emphasized local/residential eligibility, and official STI criteria have
required candidates to meet the relevant locality requirements. Therefore, do
not select a school simply because it is in a nearby city or area without
checking the eligibility conditions attached to that vacancy.
Step 8: Enter Your Educational Information
This is one of the most important
sections because your academic information can affect your merit.
Enter your qualifications one by one.
Matric
Enter:
- Board
- Roll number, if requested
- Passing year
- Total marks
- Obtained marks
- Grade/division
Intermediate
Enter:
- FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com, etc.
- Board
- Passing year
- Total marks
- Obtained marks
- Division/grade
Bachelor's
Degree
Enter:
- BA/BSc/BS/ADE or relevant
qualification
- University
- Passing year
- Total marks/CGPA
- Obtained marks/CGPA
- Degree subject
Master's
Degree
If applicable, enter:
- MA/MSc/MS/BS Hons or relevant
qualification
- University
- Subject
- Passing year
- Marks/CGPA
Professional
Qualification
If you have:
- B.Ed
- M.Ed
- Other relevant teaching
qualification
enter those details as well.
The latest advertisement specifically
says preference is given to candidates possessing professional qualifications
such as B.Ed/M.Ed.
Step 9: Enter Marks Very Carefully
This is extremely important.
Suppose your certificate says:
Total Marks = 1100
Obtained Marks = 825
Enter exactly:
Total Marks: 1100
Obtained Marks: 825
Do not enter 820, 830 or a percentage instead
of marks if the portal asks for actual marks.
Similarly, if your degree uses CGPA,
follow the portal's instructions for entering CGPA/conversion.
Incorrect academic information can
create problems during merit calculation and document verification.
Step 10: Select the STI Level
The portal may show available STI
categories/levels.
Depending on your qualification, you
may see options such as:
- Primary
- Elementary
- High
- Higher Secondary
Choose the level for which you are
actually eligible.
For example:
If you have a relevant MA/MSc/BS, you
may be eligible for higher-level vacancies depending on the advertised subject
requirements.
Do not select a subject merely because
it has more vacancies.
Step 11: Select District / Tehsil / School
This is another very important part of
the application.
The portal should show available
vacancies according to the recruitment information.
You may need to select:
District → Tehsil → School → Level →
Subject/Vacancy
Check the following before selecting:
- School name
- School location
- School level
- Subject
- Gender category, where applicable
- Vacancy status
- Your qualification
- Your local/residential eligibility
The STI recruitment is organized around
available vacancies, so the schools/vacancies displayed to you may depend on
the current recruitment cycle.
Step 12: Select the Correct Subject
If you are applying for a
subject-specific vacancy, make sure your degree matches the required subject.
For example, if the vacancy requires:
English
your relevant academic qualification
should satisfy the stated requirement.
Do not select an unrelated subject
simply because you have a higher degree.
Step 13: Upload Documents
If the portal asks for document uploads,
upload clear copies.
Typical documents can include:
- CNIC
- Domicile
- Educational certificates
- Degrees
- Result cards/transcripts
- B.Ed/M.Ed
- Photograph
Before
uploading:
Make sure:
✅ Document is readable
✅ All corners are visible
✅ Name is readable
✅ Marks are readable
✅ CNIC number is readable
✅ File is in the format accepted by the portal
✅ File size is within the portal's limit
Avoid extremely blurry photographs or
screenshots.
Step 14: Review Your Complete Application
Do not immediately click Submit.
First check everything.

functionality for viewing application status and merit information.
Step 18: Check the Preliminary Merit List

displayed at the concerned school.
Check:

Step 19: Submit a Complaint/Objection if There Is an
Error
If you believe there is a genuine
mistake in the preliminary merit list, the latest schedule provides a grievance
period.
The reported grievance period is:
26 October 2026 – 27 October 2026
through the relevant Tehsil-Level
Committee.
If your marks have been entered incorrectly
or your legitimate qualification has not been considered, use the official
grievance procedure.
Step 20: Attend the Interview
Shortlisted candidates are scheduled
for interviews on:
29 October 2026 – 30 October 2026.
Take your original documents with you.
I recommend carrying:

- Original Intermediate certificate
- Original Bachelor's degree
- Original Master's degree, if
applicable
- Original B.Ed/M.Ed
- Copies of all documents

Step 21: Check the Final Merit List
The latest schedule says the final
merit list is scheduled to be displayed at:
10:00 AM on 31 October 2026
at the concerned school and on the STI
portal.
Check your final status carefully.
Step 22: Receive the Letter of Agreement
According to the latest advertisement,
letters of agreement are scheduled to be issued through the STI Portal on:
If selected, follow the instructions in
the agreement/placement letter.
Step 23: Join the Assigned School
The latest recruitment information
indicates that the new internship period is scheduled to run from:
3 November 2026 to 31 May 2027.
Remember that STI is a temporary
internship, not a permanent government appointment. The latest advertisement
explicitly states that these positions will not be converted into regular
appointments.
Important
STI Application Tips
1.
Don't wait until the last day

Apply as early as possible because

If you already have an account, try the
login/password recovery option first.
3.
Don't enter fake marks
Your academic information can be
checked against your original documents.
4.
Don't select an unrelated subject
Your qualification must satisfy the
requirements of the vacancy.
5.
Don't apply outside your eligibility area
Check the residential/domicile
